Its primary purpose is to indicate the oil level inside the engine, but it does more than that. The dipstick can tell you about the condition of the oil. Also, it can give you an idea of the internal health of the engine. If the level of the oil is between the two lines, your vehicle has enough oil

The oil level on a dipstick reflects the amount of oil in the oil pan, which is the reservoir that holds the oil when the engine is not running. When the engine is running, some of the oil is circulated through the engine to lubricate, cool, and clean the moving parts. This means that the oil level in the oil pan will drop slightly when the engine is on, and rise back up when the engine is off.

This shape defect is formed when molten plastic enters into and solidifies in the mold (male and female mold) parting line or gaps around the ejection pins
So we need to take the burr off incase it cause the hurt after sale.
