Our company was focusing on Auto part business over 30 years,we located at JinJiang City Fujian PR China which was a manufactory produce stamping steel ,aluminum part and CNC machining.
We were a factory which support the customize development by sample ,drawing (CAD,stp,igs),the software we were using were solidwork ,CAD ,UG to communicate with customer
We were a manufactory who control the quality according to the TS 16949 quality control system.
We were a company use ERP system to tracking all the information from the raw material to the end of packing and keep all document record over 2 years.
Our main products :
Engine Coolant water connect steel pipe
The engine coolant pipe belong to the engine cooling system ,which provide coolant water flow inside the engine block water jacket ,it was start from the Engine radiator tank,drive by the engine water pump go though by the thermost housing open and close the pass to the radiator tank,normally it had a water bypass pipe.
When we start the engine ,every part was not heat up to the 90-110°,so the thermostat closed the passage to the radiator tank ,it keep the coolant water circle inside the engine block water jacket.After the engine heat up and we try to keep it coolant thermostat open the pass .
The engine coolant steel pipe was key important part for the engine keep under perfefct temperature.
There were a lot of coolant inside to assemble on engine :
Radiator tank connect steel pipe ,Rhermostat housing connect steel pipe,Radiator Outlet Pipe,engine coolant pipe,Water pump inlet pipe,water pump outlet pipe,cylinder block connect steel pipe.Engine bypass steel pipe

Auto coolant steel pipe was made by seamless tube and bracket ,also the same for the engine oil dipstick tube,so we need copper alloy or aluminum alloy as molten filler material, to joint them together. 
Brazing furnace  controlled atmosphere by nitrogen or hydrogen.
However it does not contain oxygen incase the oil pickup tube oxidation.
Cleaning and degreasing oEngine oil strainer , assemble by press-fit or TIG welding,
paste copper alloy,Preheating ,Heating,Brazing

Laser cutting engine water pump connect tube steel bracket and oil pickup screen mesh was also done by it 
It can save some blanking mold cost by laser cutting 
Some of the engine Radiator input steel water pipe bracket was just a angle without any reinforcement,so it was much more easy to use the press break to forming the shap of bracket
Some of the bracket need to be forming reinforcement,so we need to use the stamping and punching ,also it was a process engine water coolant pipe
Engine water pump connect seamless tube
The steel seamless tube was the main part of the engine Thermostat connect coolant pipe .It was a stainless/steel iron/aluminum tube connect to the water pump and circle the coolant water inside the whole engine block to Radiator tank .
Most of all the engine had a very limit space inside the car ,so we need to consider the angle of bending to avoiding the water pump inlet and outlet steel connect pipe interfere the other part .Also the heater come out from the engine water jacket may hurt the other part inside the car
We use the CNC bending machine to control the angle of the tube and bending the steel tube once a time without second time loading and unloading the pipe to ensure the angle of the tube was meeting the drawing requirement.
The capacity of the bending machine in our company can handle the pipe with DIA 120mm with thickness :4.0mm for steel/stainless steel seamless pipe

Since the key future of engine Radiator inlet water steel pipe fitment was the angle of the steel tube ,so to check the angle after bending was fitting with the working instruction call out was very important .
We cant check all the angle of the bending tube by CMM ,the best way for mass production in workshop to verity was by the inspection gauge ,this kind of inspection gauge was also working out for the Engine steel auto coolant pipe .
Here was a case for you to ref about how we check the engine water pump inlet steel pipe angle on the gauge
1.put the bending steel pipe on the gauge and fix it by clipping
2.use go and nogo gauge to check the pipe was ok or NG.

Laboratory calibration
All the inspection for the engine water pump steel tube need to be calibration before put into mass production 
We calibration the gauge according the the WORKIING INSTRUCTION (WI) call out 
The inspection tool was necessary for the auto part production ,all the part had dimension ,to ensure all the size was correct under the tolerance ,we need the CMM to make the stamping mold ,welding fixture ,inspection gauge
TIG welding assemble engine bypass water steel pipe
Before we put the engine bypass water pipe into the Atmosphere Furnace Brazing ,we need to hold all the sub part in place .the TIG welding was the best option for to hold all the part into a angle 
Assemble need to be put all the part under tolerance called out ,so we need the welding fixture ,the welding fixture also need to be calibrate by cmm before we put into use
Engine heater steel pipe Leaking test
Each engine water pump heater steel pipe need to go though leaking test
As the engine Radiator steel pipe had steel bracket and go though bending  ,so it should go though the leaking test after brazing welding .
The test condition :
1.The air cylinder push the end plug to the water coolant pipe end .
2.The air pressure go up to 1.2 Bar
3.indicator keep at 1.2Bar within 30 second
Then we consider engine water pump outlet steel pipe was ok ,but if indicator was suddent drop down ,we will put the engine oil pickup tube on side to rework it by welding or check the leaking point by water pressure 
Drying Thermostat housing connect steel pipe
After the leaking test ,there may be some water inside the auto coolant pipe
The water was coming from air compressor or the water leaking test .
It was hard to see what was going on inside the tube due to it was bending and there was a lot of angle inside a tube ,so it was much more better for a engine water pupm outlet steel pipe to dry it up after the test .
Surface treatment by zinc coating for Iron steel Intercooler pump pipe 
Surface treatment for water Intercooler pump inlet steel pipe was very important ,it circle all the coolant water inside the whole engine ,the inside of the pipe was very easy went rust .
Why we choose zinc coating instead of power coating ,it was because some of the small particle for the power coating may peel off after a long time and go inside the engine block water jacket or radiation tank ,beside power coating was not resist to the water very well  .
Salt spray test for engine water pump steel pipe
1.Engine water pump coolant steel pipe are placed in a chamber
2.Exposed to a continuous, 5% sodium chloride (NaCl) salt mist at 35°
3.According to ASTM B117 (neutral) or ISO 9227 (NSS, AASS, or CASS).the engine oil pickup steel pipe should not have withe rust within 24hours,the red rust should not apprear within 48 hours ,then we consider the engine Radiator intercool steel pipe go though the Salt spray test.

When we got the sample from our supplier ,we need to make the sample inside computer to be as 3D stp igs and read by solidwork or UG,CAD
The createform help us to take all the data from the sample and make it as stl file for the next reverse engineering
When the file of sample was set up ,the next step was produce a engine coolant water steel pipe welding fixture
Raw material test
The raw material should go though the test before we put into mass production .
It was a key process for the engine thermostat housing water cooling pipe ,because the engine was keep vibration during the car running ,so we need to keep the part strong enough to support all the part running inside ,otherwise the engine cooling system lost pressure and may lead whole engine over heat without cooling.
1.Mechanical properties:Yield strength and tensile strength
2.Chemical element:C,Mn,S,Si,P,we need to make it under the tolerance within specification.

To made a good engine Radiator coolant steel pipe we need to go though below things:
1.Raw material test 
2.Bending the seamless tube and inspection .
3.Stamping the engine thermostat housing steel pipe bracket and flange
4.Assemble them by the TIG welding first
5.Brazing welding 
6.Leaking test .
7.Drying the engine heater steel pipe before surface treatment.
8.Surface treatment for the engine heating steel pipe
9.Inspection and packing.
